80sのHanes Beefy-TのMADE IN USAボディを用いたアンディ・ウォーホルドキュメンタリー映画 Superstar The Life and Times of Andy Warhol のTシャツXLサイズです。 
 
アンディ・ウォーホルは説明する必要がない程、アメリカンポップアートを確立し名実ともに認められた現代アート界の巨匠です。 
 
こちらは、1987年の没後、1990年に公開されたウォーホルの半生を、貴重な歴史的フィルムと、ウォーホルにちなんだ人々のコメントから構成された映画作品のプロモーションTシャツで、80年代に用いられたHanesのボディーから、公開後に出るレンタルビデオ用などではなく、間違いなく公開当時の物だと断定できる一枚。 
 
そんなマニアックな観点だけではなく、彼の代名詞であるポップな色合いと作風で特徴的な後頭部が描かれ、限られた人だけが楽しめるものではなく、全ての人が楽しめるような開かれたアート＝ポップアートが見事に表現されています。 
 
マリリン・モンローやミッキーマウスやキャンベル缶のモチーフより、圧倒的にお目にかかる機会が少なく、ヴィンテージ界でも、最も価値の高いアートTと映画Tの両方を兼ね備える激レアなTシャツです。 
 
状態は、ほとんど着用感がなく、綺麗な状態で、恐らく乾燥機も入っていないので、若干縮めることも可能かと思います。
