110年の歴史と高い技術力で知られる鯖江で製作された、美しい光沢と型崩れしにくい頑健さを合わせ持つセルロイドフレーム。

加工や管理に高度な技術が必要とされ、何度も磨きを丹念に繰り返して生まれた、奥深い重厚感のある艶。
しっかりと乾燥されることで経年劣化も少なくなり、しっとりと肌に馴染みます。

セルロイドの持つ質感を最大限に引き出すため、フロントは丸みのあるシェイプに仕上げ、面の美しさを表現。
チタンとのコンビネーションでクラシカルな雰囲気を演出します。

弾力性と耐久性を持ち合わせたバネ性のあるテンプルで、かけ心地も追求しました。
芯材に柔軟性の高いβチタンを採用し、さらに蝶番からテンプル中央部までを薄く細身にシェイプ。
一定の硬さをキープしながらバネ性を実現し、従来のセルロイドフレームにはない弾力を加えています。

また、鼻パッドには人の体温 約36℃で鼻ラインになじむ形状記憶樹脂パッドを使用。
介護医療に使用されているウレタン系素材で肌にも優しく、軽量ながらも安定感のある適度な重量バランスを保ちます。

「単に鯖江でメガネをつくる」だけではなく、JINSの追求する掛け心地や細部へのこだわりを反映し、
鯖江と化学反応を起こすことで生まれた新しいメガネです。
